When does my subscription start?
On the day the PC app launches in January 2027, not on the day you pay. Beta access during December is a bonus on top of your period.
What if the app does not launch?
If TCG Scanner does not launch, you get your money back in full.
Which games are supported?
Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Disney Lorcana. The December beta starts with Pokémon and the other four are added during December, so all five are live at launch. Solo and Duo members choose their games; All Games members get every game, including new ones we add later.
When does the pre-sale end?
On 30 November 2026. After that, Founding Member prices and the Early Bird offer are gone and regular prices apply at launch.
Does it work on my phone?
The Windows app launches in January 2027 together with apps for iOS and Android. The live scanner works best on your PC, where it reads the stream on your screen; the mobile apps give you your collection and prices on the go.
Does it work on Mac?
Not at launch. The Windows, iOS and Android apps launch in January 2027, and the desktop app comes to macOS later in 2027.
Which platforms does it work with?
Any live stream you can watch on your Windows PC, including Whatnot, eBay Live and TikTok Live. It reads your screen, so you do not connect any accounts.
Does it work with Twitch card breaks?
Yes, for seeing what the cards are worth. You can't bid on Twitch: you buy break spots beforehand, usually from the breaker directly. But TCG Scanner reads what is on your screen, so it recognizes each hit in a Twitch or YouTube break and shows its market price per condition.
Does TCG Scanner connect to my Whatnot, eBay or TikTok account?
No. It never logs in to a platform, places bids or touches your account. It only looks at the stream that is already on your own screen, like a second pair of eyes. You stay responsible for following the rules of the platform you buy on.
Does it use TCGplayer or Cardmarket prices?
TCGplayer market prices in US dollars, per card and per condition, from a licensed provider of TCGplayer market data. Cardmarket prices are not part of the launch. TCG Scanner is independent and not affiliated with TCGplayer.
Can I export my collection?
Yes. You can export your whole collection to Excel or CSV at any time, for your bookkeeping or inventory.
How can I pay, and can I cancel?
You pay securely with iDEAL, credit card and other methods via Mollie. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal after purchase; details are in our terms.
